A research project in the Caribbean has led to the discovery of cave drawings dating back to AD 1492. Climate change and cultural identify are the core research areas of the project that is being developed in collaboration with the governments of Dominican Republic, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. Dr. Jago Cooper and Dr. Alice Samson are spearheading this project. Follow Dr. Cooper has he explores a cave that is 3 to 4 kilometers deep with walls that are covered by extensive Pre-Columbian art.
